Approach & Philosophy

I value collaboration, openness, direct communication, and transparency in my work. I believe you are the expert in your life and I offer my skills and learning based on your needs. Finding what's helpful for you, specifically, is one of my favorite things about being a therapist. I have practiced yoga for 15 years and meditation for 7 — the principles of non-judgment, compassionate observation, and basic goodness are foundational. Therapy is a creative process; creating new pathways, new skills, and new ways to relate. I use lots of analogies and check in frequently about our progress toward your goals.
