Neurodivergent affirming
Autistic, ADHD, AuDHD, highly sensitive, twice-exceptional. And, perhaps, burnt the fuck out. These identities may be where you've landed, or just begun to explore, after a lifetime of feeling like something is "off." Something you couldn't quite name that set you apart, made you feel like a displaced alien life form in a hostile, confounding world. If you know or suspect you're neurodivergent, you've likely learned how to mask your sensitivities, needs and desires in order to adapt. You perform what's expected of you, no matter the cost. And it's exhausting. That's why I'm so passionate about meeting you exactly where you are in this moment — if we can meet perfectionism with gentleness and over-compensation with compassion, we can find your path towards a life that fits you. Often, this looks like burnout recovery planning, executive dysfunction strategies, finding tools for rejection-sensitive dysphoria (RSD) and emotional reactivity, exploring genuine communication and relationship styles, sensory and stimulation accommodations, and identity integration. It's a joy and an honor to help you unlearn patterns of masking and self-betrayal and offer the tools you need to build a vibrant, fulfilling life.

Self-reflective analysis is worthwhile, and for many of us, an involuntary practice. You know your trauma history, your attachment style, maybe your astrological birth chart. Yet insight isn't enough to bring tangible relief. It's akin to having a highly detailed map of hell — you can lay out the interlocking factors and experiences that brought you to this point, but you can't seem to get out of old patterns. Things like chronic anxiety or hypervigilance, freeze, shutdown, or dissociation, difficulty feeling safe in relationships, and oppression-based stress are survival strategies that have served you. They exist for a host of valid reasons. And, through body-based practices like breathwork, meditation, movement, stimming, and creative outlets, you can train your nervous system to access a state of relaxation. You know how to keep yourself safe, and you always will. But you can also carve out space for rest, joy, recovery, and ease. You deserve it.
emdr trauma therapy
Trauma doesn't just exist in our brains. It lives in our emotional patterns and habitual nervous system responses. It endures through the negative beliefs we hold about ourselves. EMDR is an evidence-based therapy that helps the brain and body reprocess traumatic memories so they no longer feel immediate, overwhelming, or highly charged. It works with all parts of the trauma response network (body, emotions, memory, belief, and body sensations) to support your underlying inclination toward healing. I define trauma as anything that is chronically activated in the nervous system — this includes a wide array of experiences, like complex PTSD, religious, medical, sexual, and relationship trauma, chronic unmet emotional or support needs, identity-based wounding and social rejection, and internalized shame. For folks with marginalized identities, it can help uproot and supplant internalized oppression (the -isms and -phobias instilled by cis-hetero-normative white supremacist power structures) and make space for radical self-compassion and acceptance. The beauty of this approach is that it doesn't hinge on verbally recounting the trauma narrative (though there is space for that for those who need it!), and resource-building is the foundation. We build skills and practices so you are confident in your ability to self-regulate before moving into traumatic content. Your needs and autonomy are our guideposts. The pace is yours to set, and every step is concrete, structured, and clear.
my Approach
Systemic Lens
We need radical approaches to face horrible times. As such, I view clients within the complex web of their identities, life experiences, personal histories, and the broader social context. This means examining the ways privilege and oppression influence the way we relate with ourselves, others, and the world at large. One part is unpacking the messages of the oppressor that eat away at our humanity. Practicing radical self-acceptance, accommodating your needs, finding avenues for rest, joy, humor, pleasure, connection and creative expression are threads through all the work I do. Another part is honoring the reality of injustice in our world, and that there's no "love and light" path out of identity-based discrimination. It's a balance of tending to what is within our control so that we can participate meaningfully in the world as it is, and building our resilience so we can envision the kind of world we all deserve.
IDentity-Affirming
You are welcome here, as you are, in all your nuance. Intersectionality is foundational in my work, and I cherish the opportunity to support you based on your unique needs and experiences. As a white clinician, I understand that my solidarity must be demonstrated and trust earned. I have both lived experience and formal training on LGBTQIA+ challenges and gauntlet that is late-identified neurodivergence. You are the expert of your life, and I work to create a space where hierarchies are intentionally challenged and our collaboration shapes the work we do together.
Norms, Shmorms
My practice empowers the full spectrum of love, relationships and expression — queer (a)sexuality and relationships, polyamory, consensual- ethical-nonmongamy, kink and BDSM dynamics are all valid, beautiful paths toward love and fulfillment (aroaces, y'all are welcome too!). My definition of your relationship/s is however you define it.

About me
Nonbinary, queer, AuDHD menace who's lucky enough to have found their calling. I've always been an ornery truth-seeker, preferring to find my own path rather than do what's expected of me. This brought me to yoga at 16, something that fundamentally changed my life trajectory and led me to pursue my MA at a Buddhist-founded university. Both support me as a creature and inform my therapy work — curiosity, creativity, authenticity, empathy and cooperation are my foundational values. My communication style is compassionate and direct, with a heavy dose of East Cost energy. Second generation metal-head. Movement and art are load-bearing practices that both satisfy and exhaust me (positive). Kink lifestyler. Friend of cats.
